Terms and Conditions of Booking
MTSA appreciates that circumstances in schools change on a daily basis and there will be times where cancellations are inevitable. Once inside the last 14 days leading to an event, MTSA has made financial outlays that are non-redeemable. Consequently, any cancellations must be made before this time otherwise the full event fee is payable (even in cases such as Short Notice Ofsted Inspections or inclement weather).
For events that have been specifically provided on request and where MTSA has made financial outlays that are non-redeemable, the full event fee may be payable even if notice is given prior to the last 14 days leading to an event. Substitutions can be made at any time – a colleague may attend instead of the person originally booked at no extra cost. MTSA reserves the right to change the programme should circumstances beyond their control necessitate it.
All people attending an event should be in receipt of a confirmed place notification.
Our Cancellation Policy and associated charges apply to any applicant not attending/who do not arrive for an event/course for which a confirmed place has been allocated to them or where they have cancelled their place within the timescales detailed in the cancellation policy below.
|Chargeable Courses - non subscribers|
|Fee paying applicant cancels more than 2 weeks prior||No Charge|
|Fee paying applicant cancels less than 2 weeks prior to course start date or fails to attend||Full event/course fee|
|Fee paying applicant substitutes the place to a colleague||No Charge|
Some MTSA courses may have specific completion requirements. By signing up to attend an MTSA course the applicant is aware of the commitment required to undertake this course and agrees to meet the specific course requirements.
