SACRE & RE Hub

Medway REHub utilises the expertise of RE SLEs in order to facilitate free CPD sessions and school support as required. The REHub is funded by Medway Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE).

The curriculum for Religious Education is designed and written by the local SACRE which is comprised of representatives of different religions and denominations within the local area as well as members of the local council and teaching unions.

Medway SACRE currently has two RE SLEs representing teachers within Medway and has recently devised a new Locally Agreed Syllabus for the teaching of Religious Education in the Area. Medway REHub is a great way to find out more about the agreed syllabus and utilise the experience of fellow professionals to advance the teaching of RE in your school.
