The course is aimed at supporting primary teachers to promote consistently good teaching and learning within their classrooms.

Run over five twilight sessions, teachers will explore good practic related to a range of topics including pedagogy, assessment for learning, use of data and the learning environment and think of them within the context of their own setting.

Teachers will be asked to complete a brief onlin diagnostic prior to the first session so that the course can be tailored to meet the needs of the delegates.

Over the five weeks, delegates will have the opportunity to put the practic into place in their classrooms prior to reviewing at the next session.  It would be most effective if delegates had the opportunity to discuss the practic with a school based mentor / coach.

The course will be suitable for NQTs as well as experienced teachers to support thier effective practice for the new academic year.
